Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Interior has issued a formal warning that non-Saudi residents who remain beyond the expiry of their entry visa will face a financial penalty of up to SAR 50,000, in addition to imprisonment and deportation.
"A resident who fails to depart after the expiry of their entry visa will be subject to a financial penalty of up to SAR 50,000, imprisonment and deportation."
